This page shows different setups we’ve done over the past years. In most cases Awesome Retro did not provide seating / furniture. We do provide tables, tv’s, consoles, cabling and everything else needed to set up and operate during the event. Awesome Retro has visited over 50 events, so we’re flexible and can improvise.
Retrogaming layouts
Gameland Bobbejaanland – Beanbags and low tables using tv’s and a mega controller. Used a red carpet and fences with decoration / branding.
Outdoor retrogaming: using old couches and tables (your grandparents style), a projector and decoration attached to trees. Decoration includes a mega nintendo controller prop and lamps.

Retrogames on a student party. Only really old tv’s and mostly home computers. People sit behind desks.
An army tent of 5 by 10 meters filled with couches, tables and tv’s. It fits about 10 couches.
Haxpo staande dingen…
A white tipi filled with hay-bales and wooden boxes during EMF Camp 2012. Completely improvised.
Rainbow Island on OHM2013 was a huge castle, illuminated at night. It holds 2500 square meters for community activities and retro games.

Props
Forbidden for Ghosts Traffic Sign. Another sign is the Pac-Man sign, blue with a yellow pixelated pac-man.
Two Mega NES controllers, working.
Passive large nintendo controller, about 2.5 meters wide. Three dimensional. Hand crafted.
Mega tetris blocks – 1×1 meter per block. – It takes A LOT of time to set these up. There are four available. Due to the setup time, these are semi-deprecated. Hand crafted.
Multiplayer Flappy Bird Touch Edition (Commodore 64)
People playing Flappy Bird Touch Edition. Two participants touch each other, what makes the bird fly.
Participants see their progress as you normally would.
